This is Robert's 3 month picture! I know it's a couple of days early, but I got him to sit in the chair and stay upright. He wouldn't look at me though, he's recently found his hands and is enthralled by them.

I finally, FINALLY got Robert talking on camera. He does this quite often now, and at the funniest times. Like, right after he finishes screaming. It's almost like he decided to use his "words".

And here he is eating his monkey that Uncle Danny and Aunt Dee got him. He loves that thing. Sometimes it's the only thing that will calm him down.

It's Nana's Birthday! Robert really loves to make signs, so he made another one for Nana on her birthday.

This isn't the best picture I've ever taken, but Robert was in a hurry and I couldn't find my camera, so I took this one with the video camera. It doesn't have a flash, and it's kind of dark over where his changing table is, so I had to do some manipulating to get it this far. But hey, at least we got a picture up, right?

Happy Birthday, Mama! We love you!

Here we see Joab trying REALLY hard to get Robert to say something on camera. Just moments before I hit record Robert was telling his Daddy all about his day. I think Robert has some sort of "camera sense". Whenever I turn on the video camera or take out the digital camera, he stops whatever he was doing. Personally I think it's so he doesn't overwhelm the people that might see the images with his cuteness.

I don't know what kind of noise this was supposed to be, but it was cute!

Jammies that we got from our friends that live in Wisconsin, Angie and Tom. I got these when I was still only 24 weeks pregnant. I'm so glad he finally grew into them!

See how much we love them?!

This one is totally posed, but it looks super cute!

I laid him down on the bed, and next thing I know, he's petting Jakers!

We looked and looked for an "I love Grandpa" t-shirt, and the only one we could find was a 4t, which was just a tiny bit big for Robert. So we made a sign instead. Happy Father's Day!

Jake wasn't too happy about getting his picture taken. This is the third or fourth time I had him sit there. Most times he wouldn't even look at me. I love the ticked off look he has as well as Robert looking at him like "What are you doing over there?!"

I absolutely LOVE the look on Robert's face here. I don't really think it needs words.

Om nom nom fist!

Poking this baby in the face gets him to do so many things, hiccup, smile, and now he talks!

He was loving his bumbo this morning!

Here he is having a conversation with Daddy after his bath last night. He had a lot to say!

Catching up from the last couple of days. Several funny faces from Robert. He's being a lot more expressive now.

He was a happy baby in his car seat! Which really, is not usual for him. Usually he screams bloody murder until we get into the car.

It's late and I'm tired, but I got a picture for you! This is Robert with a full belly. Also, his hair looks really red in this picture, don't you think?

Today I have 2 videos for you. The first is of a crying baby, the second is of that same baby being cute in his new bumbo chair. He'd been crying so long that he was losing his voice. He's really pitiful, but at that point, all we could do was laugh to keep from crying ourselves. The video of him in his chair is from today. He's been REALLY good. We had one bout of crying this morning right before he took his nap, and he was a little fussy about an hour ago, but otherwise, we've been all smiles. We played with all his toys, and we even talked to Nana on the phone. I hope the days continue like this. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Side note: How country am I?!

This picture is from yesterday, one of the few times he wasn't screaming, but just laying happily on his play mat, surrounded by toys. I'd have one from today, but the camera battery is dead, so it's on the charger.

We had his 2 month well-baby check this morning. Robert is 12 lbs 2 oz, 22.5 inches long (I think the nurse was not quite accurate with this one, but we'll go with it). The doctor said he was perfectly healthy, other than all the crying. She diagnosed him with reflux and gave us a prescription for Zantac. For some reason that stuff is peppermint flavored. Robert wasn't a fan. Unfortunately, we won't know how much of an effect it's having because he also got his first round of vaccines today. He was a little trooper when he got his shots, he only cried for about 10 seconds before he quieted down. He's been really fussy since we got home, crying like his little heart is breaking, but I'm able to comfort him for the most part. It just tears me up though, I can't stand him crying like that.
