Scoop scoop!

Pour!

I found a huge one!

I wanted to take Bobby outside to play with his beads, that way, if they got away from him, I wouldn't have to chase them all over my house, but true to form, Texas weather thwarted us. Only this time, instead of being a million degrees outside, it was raining!

So instead of playing with the water beads outside, we just played in the water falling from the sky!

It's cold!

Splash!

Splash splash splash!

We had a package arrive in the mail a few days ago, and inside it were some water beads! What are water beads? Well, they're this:
$98?! Really? Luckily, I only paid $10.
You soak these things in water, and they expand from about the size of sesame seeds to the size of marbles. So today, Bobby, Charlie and I went to Target to get a container in which to soak them. The instructions say to add 1 Tbls of these little pellets to 10 cups of water. So Bobby counted out the cups for me, and we added the beads.
These had been soaking for about 20 minutes.

They're already quite a bit bigger!

This was after 3 ish hours

He had so much fun playing with them, and they're not even fully hydrated yet! The package says it can take up to 10 hours, so I know what we'll be doing tomorrow! This may end up being 10 of the best dollars I've ever spent.

I know, I know, it's been a long time. This picture is from Bobby's visit to a driving range with his daddy, grandma, and pa. I was told he had an excellent time (I had to stay home with Charlie).

The next day, we went to Main Event, which is a place with all kinds of fun things to do! They have bowling, an arcade, and mini golf! I did take a picture of him golfing and bowling, but since the bowling was laser bowling and the mini golf course was blacklit, the pictures weren't the best.

We also had a very nice visit with Auntie Jill over the weekend. I didn't get any pictures, but I did get this Bobby-ism: Chipotle is where the quesadillas live for the people to eat!
