Today, I was fixing dinner, and I noticed that Robert was being a little quieter than normal. Ok, well, a LOT quieter. I walked into the living room, and this is what I found. It seems Daddy's starting him on the video games early!

On a side note, that is also VERY exciting (to me anyway), Robert rolled over tonight! I wanted to catch it on video, but I knew that if either of us made a move to actually go get the video camera, he wouldn't do it again, and would instead lay there and scream. He rolled four times. Right from his stomach to his back. The last two times were kind of funny, because I'd put him on his back, he'd roll over and get mad. My little man is getting so big!

Doesn't this just make your heart melt? It did mine!

Ok, so already I missed a day. But I have a really good reason. Robert has been near inconsolable for the last two days. Just about the only time he's not crying is when we're holding him, and that's only for a few minutes before he starts back up again. We're getting rather stressed with the whole thing. Thank goodness he has an appointment on Wednesday with his doctor. Maybe she can shed some light on things.

I finally got him to sleep in his crib for longer than ten minutes! He was in there for almost a whole hour, and then Joab called. Bobby D's little phone sense kicked in, and he woke up. I guess I'll have to turn the phone off during the day.

We had a fun time this morning. Bobby decided that he was going to poop without his diaper on. Twice. Within 2 minutes. Mommy was thrilled. That little episode led to a bath.

I also think he's going to start using this pacifier all the time. The guy that ran the register at Wal-Mart the other day called poor Bobby a she. :(

Yesterday after we got back from dinner, we checked the mail, and there was a package for us. My friend Diana sent us a very cool Pooh Bear, along with some really neat burp cloths, some new pacifiers, and one of those pacifier holder thingers (she handmade the burp cloths and the pacifiers cause she's awesome that way).

Robert started fussing, so Jake comes over to see if he can help!

Today I decided I wanted to see approximately how much the little chubster weighs, cause, I mean, look at those cheeks! So I hopped on the scale, and then got back on with Robert. If my little bathroom scale is anywhere near accurate, he's somewhere around 13 lbs! I guess he's trying to make up for lost time.

For our anniversary, we went to Olive Garden. Robert, who is normally good at dinner, decided he was going to scream the entire time we were eating. Oh well, trial by fire and all that. I was able to get him to calm down just long enough for me to shovel my food in my mouth by holding him. I must say, I think I did pretty well eating left handed.

Hot off the Press! Er... Video Camera.

I've started putting Bobby D in his crib for naps during the day, hoping to get him used to it so that we can transition him at night. So I had put him down, and gone back into the computer room when I heard noises. I walked back into the nursery and he was talking to one of the monkeys on the crib bumper. So I broke out the video camera and decided to poke him in the face until he smiled. Who knew that poking the baby would also make him get the hiccups?

Jeez Mom, get that camera out of my face!

He's so sweet when he's sleeping.

Love, love, love this picture!

He kinda looks like I caught him doing something he wasn't supposed to.

This was a great idea, just wish he would have cooperated!

Sup, momz?

Om nom nom.

Just a few of my favorites.

More Fish

Another video of Robert in his swing. It's one of the few places that he'll sit and not cry. The others being our arms and for some reason, his changing table. I think it's because he can see the fish mobile from it.

Love them Fishies

Robert is almost 3 weeks old in this video. He still loves his fish swing!

These first posts are going to be randomly posting everything (pictures & video) that I already have. I'm going to try and make an actual blog once I get caught up.
